We are still seeing areas of dense fog over near coastal communities this morning. That includes Miramar and Mira Mesa. At the immediate coast, it’s not as dense and visibility on the roads is around 4-5 miles.
Today will be like yesterday. We’ll continue to have clouds lingering at the coast heading into late morning/early afternoon, with mostly sunny skies over our valleys, mountains, and deserts.
These conditions will stay consistent this week with the overnight/early morning fog. Meantime, a cooling trend is on the way next week. Temperatures over the valleys could return to the 70s and the coast could see daytime highs from the low 60s, bringing daytime highs 5-10 degrees below seasonal norms.
