Cool, clear mornings will be following by sunny, warm afternoons this week.

Without much of a marine layer, overnight lows will drop into the 40s and 50s. But the lack of morning clouds will also allow us to quickly heat up as much as 30 degrees by noon. Tuesday and Wednesday will likely be the two warmest days of the week.

Temperatures will trend down for the second half of the week, as a storm to our north helps to usher in cooler air for the coast and the mariner layer begins to redevelop each night and morning starting Wednesday night. Inland valleys may not feel like fall until next week.

Looking at the long range forecast, it does look like a colder storm will arrive to the pacific northwest this next weekend with snow for the Rockies and a decent drop in temperatures for most of California for the last week of October.

Tuesday

  • Coast: sunny - low to mid 70s
  • Valleys: sunny - mid to upper 80s
  • Mountains: sunny - mid to low 70s
  • Desert: sunny - mid 90s
