We are off to a great start to this Tuesday, clouds will increase this afternoon with light rain possible after 5pm.
The chance will start in the north county, light showers will spread south overnight, potentially lasting into early Wednesday morning. Rain totals could be even lighter than our weekend rainfall. Most areas will get just a few hundredths of an inch, closer to a tenth of an inch for higher elevations.
Holiday Travel across the country looks good in the from Chicago to Houston, light rain and snow will impact Northern New England, and snow will stretch from the Sierra Mountains to the Norther Rockies.

Here in San Diego, we stay dry for Thanksgiving, with a mix of clouds and sunshine. Temperatures will be comfortable in the mid 60s along the coast, and mid 70s inland.
A cut-off low sitting over the ocean has tried to move closer to us, but for now it won't a threat. Instead, temperatures will be in a warming trend as we head into the weekend. Black Friday looks to stay dry, perfect for shoppers and travelers.
