The weekend will start off with more clouds than we've seen over the past few days. Temperatures will be slightly cooler with highs mostly in the mid 60s to low 70s west of the mountains.
A cold front swinging through Southern California will bring rain chances from Saturday evening through early Sunday morning. Any showers would be light and scattered. Some areas may not get anything. That system will also bring gusty onshore winds. San Diego's mountains and deserts will be under a WIND ADVISORY from Saturday through Sunday morning.
By Sunday evening, the winds will turn off shore setting up weak Santa Ana through Monday. A second Santa Ana could arrive by mid week bringing stronger and more widespread winds. Fuel moisture levels are critically low right now. So, fire danger will be a concern next week.
