First Alert Forecast: A mild end to summer ahead of warm start to fall

As we prepare for a new season, the forecast is trending toward warmer temperatures. The first day of fall (autumnal equinox) is tomorrow!

This morning, a mostly clear start except for some coastal clouds and a pocket of dense fog over Ramona. We’re looking at a mostly clear afternoon with mild temperatures.

Prepare for a lovely and warm weekend as high pressure takes hold. Above-normal temperatures and dry conditions will continue through the first week of fall, promising a warm and dry outlook.

Looking ahead to Sunday, daytime highs trend about 5-8 degrees warmer. This will take us through about mid-week before temps taper by a few degrees at the end of the week. All in all, it will be a warmer start to the fall season.

  • Inland: mostly sunny - mid-70s to low 80s
  • Mountains: sunny - mid to upper 70s
  • Deserts: sunny - mid to upper 90s
