We have a slight chance of a stray light shower or sprinkle this morning near the coast as a weak area of low pressure moves South through the state. The afternoon looks to stay dry with pleasantly cool temperatures once again, then we'll have another slight chance for a stray shower later tonight and early Friday.
Cool temperatures will stay with us through the end of the work week, with daytime highs sitting 5 to 10 degrees below normal.
We stay dry to start the weekend with a warming trend as high pressure sets up to our North and Northeast. Sunday will be the warmest day with high temperatures just above normal for this time of the year. Sunday is also the first day of Fall!
Warm temperatures will stick around early next week, then drop a bit below normal. But next week will not be as cool as this week.
