Our cool weather pattern will be sticking around into next week with below average daytime high temperatures, gusty winds, and periods of light rain.
Tonight, mostly cloudy skies with a chance of patchy drizzle overnight into early Sunday morning. It will be a cloudy start to the day, with afternoon sunshine expected to break through. Although temperatures will remain between 3 and 8 degrees below average for this time of year.

A Wind Advisory is in effect for the deserts and mountain slopes through 11am Sunday due to strong westerly wind gusts up to 60 mph. Winds will briefly subside but will likely continue windy across the mountains and deserts through Wednesday.

For the Padres game, we should see mostly sunny skies with intermittent clouds but overall nice weather at Petco Park.

A large and strong low-pressure system will form to our north on Sunday, bringing much needed snow and rain to Northern California and the Sierra Range. The system will weaken once it makes it into San Diego but could bring a chance of light, measurable rain late Sunday night into Monday morning. It looks like we see about a tenth of an inch to a quarter of an inch on Monday.
