The Santa Ana winds have calmed. It’s still pretty dry, but that is changing as well.
A passing storm to our north will bring increased clouds, onshore winds, and a slight chance of shows on Thursday. Most of the moisture from that storm should stay north, but there is a chance the tail end of it could catch San Diego by tomorrow afternoon/evening bringing a chance for mostly light showers. The mountains and deserts will be under a WIND ADVISORY on Thursday from 1pm to midnight with gusting around 30mph.
Another system will pass by to our north on Saturday bringing another slight chance for mostly light showers.
King Tides also return with the full moon this weekend. We’ll have morning high tides close to 7’ combined with 4-5’ waves around 7am Friday bringing a chance for some minor coastal flooding. We’ll also have high tides around 7’ for Saturday and Sunday mornings. There’s a BEACH HAZARD STATEMENT in place.
