Thanksgiving will get off to a foggy start for parts of the county. A DENSE FOG ADVISORY is in place through 9am for San Diego's coastal region. Visibility will be less than a mile in some places. So, if you need to get out on the roads before 9am, leave extra time and drive carefully. Also, if you're flying anywhere, check your flight status ahead of time.
If you're getting up early for any of the turkey trots, expect morning temperatures in the mid to low 50s with fog along the coast, and mostly cloudy skies everywhere else.
The fog should mix out by around mid morning, and Thanksgiving is expected to be a gorgeous day, with dry conditions, a mix of sun and clouds, and mild temperatures. By the afternoon, our daily high temps will be comfortable in the upper 60s to low 70s along the coast, and mid to upper 70s inland.
