Tonight, it’ll be partly cloudy with some high clouds and patchy fog in spots. Temperatures along the coast will be in the mid to upper 40s, while the valleys will be a lot colder, ranging from the upper 30s to low 40s. The mountains will dip into the low 30s, and the deserts will stay around the low 40s.
The High Surf Advisory remains in effect until 10 a.m. Thursday due to continued elevated surf along the coast. While the surf will gradually calm down tonight into Thursday afternoon, the risk of rip currents will stay very high for the next few days.
A weak ridge of high pressure will move in, bringing warmer temperatures to inland areas, with daytime highs expected to be 5 to 8 degrees higher than Wednesday. It’s shaping up to be a beautiful and pleasant Thursday!
