NBCUniversal Media, LLC A daily video forecast from NBC 7's First Alert weather team.

We have a great start to the week with partly to mostly sunny skies. Temperatures will trend near to slightly above normal today with daytime temperatures in the mid to upper 60s along the coast and mountain communities, mid 70s for our inland valleys, and deserts.

Another storm system will bring more rain for northern California, and a chance for light rain for us Tuesday night through Wednesday. It looks like rain totals will stay on the lighter side again especially for San Diego County. Preliminary rainfall amounts look to average a tenth of an inch or less.

We dry out in time for Thanksgiving, but we will be in between storms with partly to mostly cloudy skies.

For now, Black Friday looks to stay dry, but a cut-off low sitting over the ocean could bring a chance for light precipitation Friday night into early Saturday. The weekend will be mild with temperatures hovering near normal.

  • Coast: Mostly sunny - upper 60s to low 70s
  • Valleys: Mostly sunny - mid to low 70s
