It’s another chilly start to the day with morning lows from the low 30s to low 50s across the county. As of 4 a.m., Descanso had a low of 30 degrees. Patchy frost across the inland valleys is expected.
Looking ahead to the rest of the morning, we stay chilly throughout 8 a.m. before temperatures noticeably warm up.
Winds will shift out of the southwest for the mountains and northwest for the desert region this afternoon with gusts from about 20-25 mph. Meantime, at the coast, there could be some patchy cloud development.
By Tuesday, easterly winds will develop over our mountains and could gust up to about 30 mph, bringing Santa Ana conditions back into our forecast, which is a trend we will see through the end of the week. Warmer temperatures will remain in the forecast Tuesday-Friday ahead of slightly cooler temperatures for the weekend.

Tonight, will be another chilly night especially for the inland valleys and mountains where overnight lows could dip down to the upper 30's and 20's respectively.

- Coast: Partly sunny- low to mid 60s
- Valleys: Mostly sunny - low to mid-60s
- Mountains: Mostly sunny - low 50s
- Desert: Mostly sunny - low 70s
