It's going to be another gray start to the day for San Diego's coast. Fog, and low clouds will again dominate the morning, and possibly even into the afternoon, for the beaches.
Inland will be a different story. After a couple of days with slightly cooler temperatures, inland locations will be about 5 to 10 degrees warmer. The heat stays around for Sunday and into the early part of next week.
The EXCESSIVE HEAT WARNINGS for the inland valleys and deserts will remain in place through Monday night. The same goes for the HEAT ADVISORY for the mountain communities.
With wildfires still burning across Southern California, there’s a chance we could smell some smoke across the county. Air quality is currently at a moderate level.
