Governor Newsom acts on rail corridor, IVF and AI safety bills

Newsom signed a bill that could bring improvements to the LOSSAN Rail Corridor, which might help bring stability to lines close to crumbling bluffs. Another bill solidified new requirements for health insurance to cover IVF and expands benefits to LGBTQ+ families. The governor vetoed an AI safety bill, the first of it’s kind in the nation.
