San Diego County to close out 2024 with elevated fire risk | San Diego News Daily

San Diego is expecting a warm-up and some Santa Ana winds to close out the year, creating fire-danger concerns among firefighters. And, Imperial Beach Mayor Paloma Aguirre announced her intention to run for the San Diego County Board of Supervisors, hoping to fill the seat that will be vacated next month by current board Chair Nora Vargas. Plus, a new barrier will be installed along a section of Sunset Cliffs to prevent people from getting onto the cliff.
