A hearing began to determine whether an unlicensed driver will go to trial on murder charges for allegedly causing the deaths of two children by crashing into a family’s vehicle in Mountain View at high speeds while trying to evade police.

The children were killed during a high-speed chase, reports NBC 7’s Audra Stafford.

The City of San Diego is switching its services for flood victims to online through the city’s website. This weekend is the last for the local assistance center at the Mountainview Community Center.

More than 600 flood victims have leaned on the resource center in the Mountain View neighborhood in the last week, according to a city of San Diego spokesperson.
