A man was fatally stabbed Friday during a predawn quarrel at a Mira Mesa home.

The San Diego City Council Tuesday unanimously approved a 45-year lease with the San Diego County government to revive a vacant recreational facility, the Epicentre, in the Mira Mesa neighborhood.

Cole Klemke, 27, a former baseball player at Torrey Pines High School and the University of Nebraska, pleaded not guilty to an attempted murder charge in connection with the apparently random stabbing.
