A judge has once again delayed the murder trial of Larry Millete, the Chula Vista man accused of killing his wife, Maya.

The murder trial of Larry Millete, the Chula Vista man accused of killing his wife who remains missing more than four years after vanishing from her home, was delayed until January of next year.

Larry Millete is accused of killing his 39-year-old wife, Maya Millete, whose body had never been found, in January 2021.

A judge on Monday granted custody of missing Chula Vista mother Maya Millete’s three children to her sister, Maricris Drouaillet.

Maya Millete disappeared from her Chula Vista home more than three-and-a-half years ago.  On Monday, two judges in two separate courtrooms handled cases that will determine what happens to the Millete children.  NBC 7’s Allison Ash has the details.
