The San Diego Police Department on Tuesday released new body-camera footage showing the moment an SDPD officer shot a man who took off from his ex-girlfriend’s home with their 11-month-old baby last week in Chollas Creek.

A man accused of shooting a San Diego Police Department officer in Chollas Creek last year was bound over for trial Wednesday after the previously wounded officer testified in court about the encounter.

The victim’s body was found in a ravine near a homeless encampment by Chollas Parkway.

One person is dead after being shot in the back in the City Heights area of San Diego on Saturday evening.

JC Blake Sartor pleaded not guilty to several charges.

JC Blake Sartor pleaded not guilty to five counts of attempted premeditated murder on a police officer with a semi-automatic firearm, shooting at an inhabited dwelling, vehicle theft and being a felon in possession of a firearm.
