You thought you had a difficult Sunday night because you had to host a Super Bowl party, get the buffalo chicken dip out on time and talk to your friend's significant other who you don't really know that well? Well, Van Jefferson has you beat.
Beat easily, in fact.
After totaling four catches in the Los Angeles Rams' Super Bowl LVI win over the Cincinnati Bengals, Jefferson was seen quickly departing SoFi Stadium, apparently hoping to could catch the birth of his second son.
Before midnight on the West Coast, he posted an Instagram Story of himself lying in a bed, holding the baby in his arms with the caption "X2!!!!!"

According to reports, Jefferson's wife, Samaria, was seen leaving midway through the game on Sunday. Her official due date was Feb. 17, The Athletic reported Saturday, meaning the newborn arrived a few days early. Clearly, he was hoping to congratulate his dad as soon as possible.
So, after getting some celebrating in with his teammates, Jefferson quickly got changed and got moving in order to meet Samaria at a nearby hospital.
“I’m excited about it,” Jefferson said this week, according to The Athletic. “Excited to play in the Super Bowl as well. … Two things going on. I’m happy about both of them.”
While the timing proved a complicated one for the Jefferson family, Samaria said ahead of the game she supported her husband playing in the game.
“I said, ‘You play, I’ll see you at the hospital afterwards.’ That’s what it is. I will never take that moment away from him. I want to see him glorify God on the field that day,” Samaria told The Athletic.
