The weekend is finally here! And San Diego has great musical options to satisfy even the most finicky tastes. Peter Case is giving a rare appearance at Soda Bar, while classic '80s groups Bow Wow Wow and Gene Loves Jezebel take over Brick By Brick. The San Diego County Fair hosts local superstars Switchfoot, meanwhile over at Casbah for two nights the Greyboy Allstars will celebrate their latest release. Their first show is already sold-out. My personal recommendation is go see Brooklyn's Small Black -- who have come through our city a couple times. They certainly are going to go hard at the Soda Bar. One way or another you can be sure to indulge in killer music for Friday. It should be pretty easy to do with so many choices available to you.
