Politically Speaking: AB 1500, the Elders Act

Assemblyman Brian Maienschein, who represents the 77th District here in San Diego County, introduced AB 1500, titled the Elders Act. That’s an acronym for “Elders Living with Dignity, Emphathy, Respect and Support.” It’s a bond measure calling for approval by two-thirds of the state’s voters next year. Maienschein speaks with NBC 7’s Gene Cubbison about the bill.
