A weird thing happened to the Padres Triple-A affiliate.
"Chico" was introduced as the El Paso Chihuahas new mascot earlier this week and just a few days on the job - he took one on the chin.
An errant throw sailed into the dugout and hit poor Chico.
Thankfully He stayed in the game and is listed as day-to-day.
That's one way to take one for the team.
