Good grief.
Peter Robbins, the voice of Charlie Brown from the "Peanuts" television series and movies, was arrested in California on Sunday on charges that include stalking as he was crossing the U.S.-Mexico border.
Robbins entered the San Ysidro Port of Entry in a 2006 Mercedes Benz C230 and was pulled over by a Customs and Border Protection officer, said Angelica de Cima with the CBP.
He was taken in for a more in-depth examination. The agency did a background check and noticed there was a felony warrant against Robbins from the San Diego County Sheriff's Department.
Robbins was taken into custody and then booked into the San Diego County Jail. He will be arraigned Wednesday afternoon on counts of making a threat to cause death or great bodily injury and stalking.
Robbins was the voice of Charlie Brown for the TV specials "A Charlie Brown Christmas" and "It's a Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown."
He began his acting career as a child and has made cameo appearances in several other television shows since.
