The wait is finally over. After a slow trickle of photos that gave eager fans little to go, the folks at the Magic Kingdom have at last unleashed the trailer to one of the most hotly anticipated films of the year.
The new trailer for "Tron: Legacy" looks incredible. The clip opens with Alan Bradley (Bruce Boxleitner) tossing the keys to Flynn's Arcade to young Sam Flynn (Garret Hedlund), son of Kevin (newly minted Oscar winner Jeff Bridges).
Soon enough we find Sam and ourselves in the world of Tron, inhabited by Olivia Wilde in a bodysuit laying back on a love seat and some bizarre Edgar Winter-y carnival barker type, among others.
More importantly, though, the effects look awesome. The arena, cycles, cars discs... they'll all gorgeously rendered and will no doubt look even better 20-feet high and in 3D.
We've officially gone from suspicious to on-board.
