School Bus-ted!

A New York school bus driver has been arrested for drinking beer on the job. Orangetown police say a woman who was behind 43-year-old James Pruitt in the check out line of a convenience store called them. She told authorities that she saw him buy a beer, then come out to the parking lot and drink it near his bus. By the time police caught up with him about 45 minutes later he had already made it to Bergen Catholic High School, picked up his students, and was back in Pearl River delivering them. Pruitt will be in court next month to face charges of endangering the welfare of a child and two federal traffic violations.
