A police pursuit involving a suspected stolen vehicle through the South Bay Saturday night ended with a crash.
The driver was behind the wheel of a suspected stolen vehicle, according to the California Highway Patrol.
Newschopper4 Bravo was over the chase at about 9 p.m., with the pursuit concluding about 30 minutes later.
The police chase started in Huntington Park before proceeding south and entering Long Beach. Then, the chase traveled through Wilmington and into Torrance.
The vehicle stopped multiple times and appeared to be ending the chase, but the driver proceeded to accelerate away from authorities.
The pursuit vehicle then continued deeper into the South Bay, moving into Redondo Beach and up the hill to the Palos Verdes peninsula. Police proceeded to attempt and execute a PIT maneuver, but the vehicle drove away from a trio of officers that had their guns drawn.
After driving on Palos Verdes Drive North, the pursuit vehicle collided with another vehicle at the intersection of Hawthorne Boulevard and Palos Verdes Drive North in Palos Verdes Estates.

Police officers broke the vehicle's windows and dragged the driver out of the truck, thus ending the pursuit.
