A deadly magnitude-7.3 earthquake rocked tremor-weary Nepal Tuesday, killing at least 42 people and wounding more than 1,000, emergency officials said — just weeks after after a devastating quake killed more than 8,000. The new quake triggered a renewed panic and sent residents in the the capital city of Kathmandu streaming into the streets. "It was completely unexpected," nursing student Shristi Mainali told NBC News. "At first we just felt like a shake, and we thought it was normal, we are having aftershock, but it didn't stop, so we got up and rushed to our garden. We could see the ground moving, shaking." Shockwaves were felt across northern India and as far away as New Delhi — 550 miles from the quake's epicenter near Everest Base Camp, about 51 miles east of Kathmandu.
