91x Announces Second Night of Wrex the Halls

Get pre-sale tickets for 91x's holiday mini-fest with Rise Against and Run the Jewels

On Saturday, Oct. 21, 91x announced the second (but really, first) night of San Diego's biggest holiday mini-music festival: Wrex the Halls. The event, which is co-presented by Goldenvoice, starts on Friday, Dec. 8, this year at Valley View Casino Center.

Melodic hardcore band Rise Against, hip-hop duo Run the Jewels, post-hardcore band the Used, British glam-rockers the Struts, hard rock trio Highly Suspect and San Diego's own Buckfast Superbee are all slated to play this time around.

While tickets go on sale to the general public on Wednesday, Oct. 25, using the pre-sale code FRIDAY, you can get your tickets now. The base fee for general admission is $46, but all said and done, it should cost you around $60 out the door. Note that because there are so many big acts, doors will open at 5 p.m. and the music should start by around 5:30 or 6 p.m.

Night two of Wrex the Halls 2017 was announced some time ago with bands like the Lumineers, Vance Joy, Dreamcar, the War on Drugs and the Arkells. Tickets for that lineup are available for between $45 and $70 here.

Last year's two-day extravaganza featured headlining sets from Blink-182 and Beck and support from Pierce the Veil, Band of Horses, Local Natives and Jimmy Eat World. Check out photos from night one here and night two here.

91x usually finds a way to deliver a little something for everybody, and it will be an extra special affair with some hip-hop thrown into the mix this year.
