The race for California State Assembly District 79

Half a dozen state Assembly seats representing San Diego are in the hands of voters this election. The 79th District is vast, stretching all the way into Spring Valley and El Cajon. NBC 7 political reporter Joey Safchik spoke with both candidates hoping to represent the district in Sacramento.
