We are waking up to cloudy skies, but turning partly cloudy by this afternoon, NBC 7's meteorologist Angelica Campos said.

A weak upper level storm off the coast will move slowly toward the coast today with increasing clouds through tomorrow. Some of the models are hinting at rain, but most likely we will remain dry with chances under 10%, Campos said.

High pressure over the Great Basin will contribute to offshore winds today through the weekend and a warming trend. Sunday's daytime highs will average 5 to 10 degrees above normal, Campos said.

Next week, the same low pressure system offshore bringing clouds today, will move back and forth, playing a role on our weather into next week with variable skies.

The first week of December brings coastal communities will trend near normal, while the rest of the county will enjoy mild weather with daytime highs above average for this time of year.
