SoCal Rents to Increase in Next 2 Years

USC Researchers analyzed rents, populaltion growth and the amount of housing in several counties including San Diego. The result is that even though there has been a rebound in the number of construction permits, building is still not keeping up with demand. The study suggests rents may go up at least $100/month over the next two years. Read more about the research here.
