The San Diego County Sheriff's Department said a teenage girl with autism who had been missing from her Vista home for more than 12 hours has been found.
Deputies said a postal carrier saw the girl on the 1000 block of East Bobier Drive at around 12:30 p.m. Friday and recognized her from a sheriff's department bulletin.
The teen was dehydrated but otherwise on good health, the SDSO said.
The department thanked the public and the 81 Search and Rescue Volunteers who aided in the rescue effort.
