A Pacific cold front brought light showers to San Diego County on Monday, possibly lingering into Tuesday morning, forecasters said.

"We are anticipating some rain Monday and Tuesday — but this system moving through, it's not going to be a huge rainmaker for us," NBC 7 meteorologist Brooke Martell said. "It's pretty light and moves through pretty quickly too."

Below are the estimated rainfall amounts from Monday night to Tuesday morning:

  • Coast: 0.01 to 0.10 inches
  • Valleys: 0.01 to 0.10 inches
  • Mountains: 0.01 to 0.30 inches
  • Desert: Trace

A wind advisory for the county's mountains and deserts will be in effect from 10 p.m. Monday to noon on Tuesday, according to the NWS.
