Firefighters responded to a house fire in Ramona Tuesday evening.
At approximately 9:40 p.m., firefighters arrived at a residence at Carousel Road, off SR-67, according to Cal Fire.
At the time of their arrival two people were unaccounted for, but by 10 p.m. those residents had been located. Cal Fire said the fire spread from a home to nearby vegetation but crews were able to knock out the brush fire.
Neighbors told NBC 7 they heard several explosions as the blaze sparked, perhaps from propane tanks.
Two residents were displaced due to damage from the fire; no one was hurt. Fire crews were still putting out hot spots and mopping up just before 11:30 p.m.
The cause of the fire is under investigation.
