San Diego weather today: Brooke Martell’s forecast for March 7, 2025

San Diego County has seen rain clouds, gray skies and precipitation for four days straight this week.

The first storm arrived overnight Tuesday and delivered a healthy dose of rain. Rain totals for Tuesday were approaching an inch in some places, including San Diego's airport.

A colder and more powerful storm hit early Thursday, with parts of the county getting more than an inch-and-a-half of rain, along with hail and a few lightning strikes off the coast.

On-and-off and mostly light showers moved through the county on Friday before drying out and warming up for the weekend.

The first two weeks of March have received almost double the amount of rain as all of October-February combined, and this month's rainfall is already the monthly total for a typical March, according to NBC 7 meteorologist Greg Bledsoe.
