Progress report for CARE Act mental illness recovery program in San Diego

One year after San Diego enacted a unique mental health recovery program, it has been tapped to coach other countries across the state. The Community Assistance, Recovery & Empowerment Act is a voluntary program designed to help people with schizophrenia or other psychotic disorders. NBC 7’s Shandel Menezes has more.
