More than 2,000 North County residents were without power for several hours on Wednesday as SDG&E worked to asses the outage, according to its website.
Residents affected were Rancho Peñasquitos, Rancho Bernardo and San Pasqual. By 4:45 p.m., a total of 2,505 customers were without power. Four customers in Fallbrook were also listed as without power.
However, by 8:30 p.m. power had been restored to all customers except those in Fallbrook.
