Sharp HealthCare was slated to vaccinate Carlos Alegre, a long-term care patient in Birch Patrick Skilled Nursing Facility at Sharp Chula Vista Medical Center, Monday afternoon. With that, Alegre is expected to be the first patient in San Diego County to receive his first dose of the two-part Pfizer-BioNTech COVID-19 vaccine.
