Light showers are expected early Wednesday, followed by mostly cloudy and dry weather the rest of the day, the National Weather Service said.

Most places were expected to get less than .10" of rain, NBC 7 Meteorologist Greg Bledsoe said.

Thanksgiving is looking dry with a mix of clouds and sunshine. If you're getting up early for any of the turkey trots, expect morning temperatures in the mid to upper 50s. By the afternoon, our daily high temps will be comfortable in the mid 60s along the coast, and mid 70s inland, Bledsoe said.

A warming trend continues into the weekend where inland areas could get up to 80 degrees, Bledsoe said.

Wednesday temperatures:

  • Coast: Mostly cloudy, highs in the mid 60s
  • Valleys: Partly sunny, upper 60s
  • Mountains: Partly sunny, upper 50s
  • Desert: Mostly sunny - low to mid 70s
