NBCUniversal Media, LLC Widespread clouds and a deep marine layer spread over San Diego County skies during Labor Day weekend on Sept. 2, 2023.

San Diego County may not feature postcard weather this Labor Day weekend, but you won't melt nor will you be rained in.

So don't put your barbecues and floaties away just yet. Let's get to the forecast!

Monday's coastal temperatures won't stray far, also keeping in the low to mid-70s. Expect partly sunny skies during the day and patchy fog after 11 p.m., according to NWS.

The inland valleys and mountains will stay in the high 70s and the deserts will be in the 90s.

The weekend's lingering marine layer should begin to fade on Monday and by Friday, staying only near the coastal areas.

Temperatures will remain fairly steady the next few days with a dry weather pattern and not as humid. Our warming trend begins as we approach the weekend. This weekend will be slightly above normal for this time of the year.
