The California Highway Patrol is looking for a suspect who reportedly shot at another vehicle on Interstate 8 in La Mesa Sunday, officials said.
The shooting was reported at around 3:30 p.m. on westbound I-8 just east of Grossmont Boulevard. At least two shots were fired, one of which stuck a man driving a red Chrysler PT Cruiser, investigators said.
The victim was taken to a hospital for treatment and their condition is unknown at this time, CHP said.
The suspect vehicle was reported as a black Ford Fusion sedan.
