Harrah's Launches First Tribal-Owned Brewing Concept in Southern California

Harrah’s Resort Southern California recently opened SR76, a new 5,000-square-foot brewery adjacent to the resort and casino in Valley Center.

A Harrah’s statement said the venue, named for its location near state Route 76, is the first tribal-owned brewing concept in Southern California. The resort, at 777 Harrah’s Rincon Way, is owned by the Rincon Band of Luiseno Indians and operated by HCAL LLC, a license company of Caesars Entertainment.

Operators said the brewery, led by Brewmaster Brian Scott, will produce up to 20 brews annually, to be rotated seasonally, with at least four styles offered per season in its on-site tasting room. Restaurants within the resort will also serve beers from the brewery, created specifically to pair well with various cuisines.

The new venue incorporates wood and other natural textures, and includes a lounge area with leather couches. The brewery was built by W.E. O’Neil Construction Co. and designed by architecture firm Community A Design Collective.
