The Hilton San Diego Airport/Harbor Island hotel has completed a multimillion-dollar renovation of its lobby, restaurant and public spaces.
Exact figures on the renovation’s costs were not disclosed in a statement from hotel operators. The 211-room property is at 1960 Harbor Island Drive.
The most recent phase of remodeling, which followed a prior redesign of guestrooms, includes new check-in pods in the lobby, with updated tiling, lighting and wall treatments. The hotel’s redesigned lounge now has club-style seating arranged around a fireplace.
The hotel has also added a 24-hour business center with private workstations, and has redesigned its Sierra Pacific Restaurant and Lounge with new seating, décor and buffet station.
There is also a new pool patio with updated furnishings, and upgraded carpeting and lighting in the hotel’s meeting and conference spaces.
The hotel is owned and operated by Toronto-based Westmont Hospitality Group Inc.
