Firefighters were battling a vegetation fire that broke out in De Luz Sunday.
Units were dispatched around 11 a.m. Sunday to reports of a fire, dubbed the "Trail 4 Fire," in the area of Harris Trail and Via Cordoniz Road in San Diego County, just north of Fallbrook, according to Cal Fire officials.
The fire's forward rate of spread was stopped at 12 acres and is currently 100% contained, fire officials said on Monday. Fire crews are remaining at the scene to mop-up and construct containment lines, Cal Fire said.
At one point, the fire was threatening structures and mandatory evacuation warnings were issued for nearby areas, which means people might soon be in danger.

A temporary evacuation point has been set up at SonRise Christian Fellowship, located at 463 South Stagecoach Lane in Fallbrook.
According to Cal Fire Capt. Tom Piranio, mandatory evacuations were initially issued, then quickly downgraded to evacuation warnings.
No injuries were reported, and the cause of the fire was not immediately known.
