FBI agents in San Diego arrested 26 individuals with ties to the Hells Angels Motorcycle gang Thursday.
The agents searched 19 different local locations for the suspects: four of which are considered fugitives, according to an FBI statement.
The suspects were arrested on federal drug charges. Agents seized thousands of dollars in currency, in addition to firearms and several types of drugs.
SWAT Teams from the FBI, San Diego Police Department, and Oceanside Police Department assisted in the arrests and search warrants, which started at about 6 a.m. Thursday.
The arrests are a culmination of a two-year investigation, during which, agents and detectives prevented a kidnapping.
The U.S. attorney’s office will prosecute those arrested in the operation. The suspects have been booked into the Metropolitan Correctional Center (MCC) and will appear before a U.S. Magistrate Judge on Friday.
