One person was killed in a crash on Miramar Road, and a second person was taken to Scripps Memorial Hospital for treatment, according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
One person is dead and another was taken to the hospital after a crash Thursday night in Miramar, officials said.
The incident happened on Miramar Road near Cabot Drive and was reported just before 8:30 p.m., according to the San Diego Fire-Rescue Department.
Video from the scene shows a truck and a sedan that appear to have been involved.
SDFD said crews responded and put out a vehicle fire that sparked following the crash. San Diego police also responded.

Miramar Road was still closed in both directions as of 10:30 p.m., police said.
