A car caught fire in a multi-vehicle collision involving two other drivers, according to the Chula Vista Fire Department (CVFD).
The vehicles collided at about 5:30 a.m. on the Northbound Interstate 805, south of State Route 54 in Chula Vista. California Highway Patrol has been called to the scene, said CVFD officials.
There were no injuries in the crash, said CVFD officials.
Currently, several lanes are closed and traffic is stopped around the area, near Canyon and L Street. A SigAlert was issued at 5:40 A.M. and predicted traffic delays up to 30 minutes.
