Having got as much as an inch of rain in some locations, many San Diegans will want to be on alert for falling branches and trees on Tuesday, with high winds on the way.
With a high-wind advisory issued for the mountain areas of the county, residents were notified that the Julian Union Elementary School District (JUESD) planned a late start on Tuesday. Students at the Warner Unified and Spencer Valley school districts will also have a late start, said officials with the San Diego County Office of Education, who blamed the delays on inclement weather.
On Tuesday, northwest winds will breeze by at the coast at an average of 15-25 mph, with isolated gusts potentially reaching 40 mph.

Breezy conditions follow wet weather that began Sunday evening, bringing measurable rain and snow to the county.
