One person was killed and at least seven others were hospitalized in a multi-car crash Wednesday night near Mission Bay, police confirmed.
The crash was reported at around 9:45 p.m. on Interstate 5 near Sea World Drive, according to SDPD.
At least two vehicles rolled over, trapping several passengers inside both cars.
The driver of a pickup truck involved in the crash was arrested for DUI, SDPD said.
The cause of the crash has not been determined.
